What I do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

WordPress and WooCommerce. <\/strong>This has been my home turf for years. Your store or website will work the way it should: fast, free of unnecessary plugins, with editing you can handle yourself. Custom themes, tailored WooCommerce, custom plugins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

React and modern frontend. <\/strong>When classic WordPress isn’t enough, I build headless applications and custom frontend solutions. The result is fast, scalable, and wired into your system exactly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI and automation.<\/strong> We solve repetitive tasks once and for all. I integrate AI into your workflow \u2013 content writing, data processing \u2013 less manual work, more room for what matters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Always learning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Knowing what worked last year isn’t enough. I regularly attend conferences, study new technologies, and invest in courses. Recent highlights include courses from House of \u0158ez\u00e1\u010d (AI University, AI Marketing Lab<\/a>, AI Design Lab<\/a><\/em>), Design Workshop Facilitation<\/em> (lifelong learning at KISK MUNI), and Front-End Performance in The Real World<\/em> by Harry Roberts<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I currently work mainly with Claude and Gemini in my workflow; some writing I do with Wispr<\/a>. I’m interested in how AI is changing development, product design, and everyday work with data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been into computers and programming since the dial-up era. It started as a way to process research data during my studies at Charles University, where I focused on corpus and computational linguistics. I spent a year studying NLP in Paris at ILPGA (multilingual text processing, speech syntax, etc.). I hold a PhD specializing in natural language processing from Charles University. NLP is the foundation of today’s AI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking and moderating<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I regularly appear at conferences \u2013 as a speaker and a moderator. I enjoy both. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently I’ve spoken at WordCamp in Gdynia<\/a>, Poland (Beyond Plugins: Automate with Make in Minutes, Not Months)<\/a> and at FrontEndisti’s<\/a> meetup (AI Won’t Teach You Everything. Or Will It?) <\/em>). . In April 2024 I spoke at Checkout Summit<\/a> in Palermo, Italy: Tools, Fads, Your Expertise Doesn’t: A WooCommerce Developer’s Guide to AI That Lasts. <\/em> I also teach beginners \u2013 you can catch me at Czechitas<\/a> courses or local WordPress meetups<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with my colleague Daniel Mejta, I co-founded “AI d\u00edlna” \u2013 d\u00edlna.ai<\/a>, where we share our know-how with other developers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may have seen me moderate at WebExpo<\/a> (2023 and 2024), FrontKon<\/a> (2024 and 2025), WordCamp Europe 2025 <\/a>in Basel, and WordCamp Gdynia 2025<\/a>. I also moderate smaller events and meetups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Even though I’m freelance, I’m not alone. I’m close to the frontend and AI geek communities \u2013 you can often find me at their meetups in Prague. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been part of the WordPress community from the start. I organize regular WP Pivo meetups in Prague and I’m behind the N\u00e1\u0161 WP association. I organized WordCamp Prague 2020<\/a> and co-organized other editions. I translate other developers’ plugins into Czech, and I build my own \u2013 some of which you can download for free from the WP repository. I translate plugins from other programmers into English and create my own<\/a> \u2014some of them are free to download from the WP repository<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
